Vectra VXR

Sell it and buy a VXR :p
No seriously, Would this VXR be vastly less expensive to service? If so go for the Subaru as the service intervals surely must be similar to the vauxhall?

and as I said before, The money you save due to high depriciation of the VXR will more than pay for the running costs.

A Subaru WRX (not STi) Wagon would probably be more appropriate considering the OP's stated circumstances.

Well I'd agree with the consensus, don't buy one.

Having now done about 16 laps around Oulton Park in one, they are definitely unimpressive. They don't feel that fast, they don't sound special at all, the understeer at speed is pretty dire although you'd probably never experience this on the road unless you were trying to outrun the police.

Interior isn't bad imo, good room. Still hate those indicators though.

£12k for that M3 - bargin :O

That Evo will get through a set of tyres within about 5k miles (not entirely accurate but it eats them), service costs are astronomical and very frequent and it does about 8mpg (again not accurate but probably close enough), which amounts to very high running costs. I think even i'd choose the VXR over that with that in mind, but then again, i'd still go for the ST220 over the VXR because it just looks so much sexier, especially in performance blue.
