Vega 56 Problems

Are you using displayport cable?
Try it with an hdmi cable instead.
I had a similar issue and it was a cheap displayport cable sending 5v from the monitor backwards to the graphics card causing it to bomb on boot.

I tried the hdmi connection and it worked :D all this hassle over a dodgy displayport cable ! what a relief

Mate, rule of thumb, always say what you are replacing including the cables :p

Yeah panos i used what was perfectly working before as i have been working with computers for 25 years and i still havent got a clue :D but then again im getting old ;) cheers
