Hi,
I'm planning a quick/easy fence for around a vegetable patch, just something waist height to keep rabbits out and ideally last several years+.
Does this sound sensible?
* Posts 90cm above ground, 20cm below ground and 1m apart with small portions of postcrete (75mm x 75mm wickes posts)
* Chicken wire, buried a 10cm with some gravel a few cm each side of wire to stop weeds.
* Wire just stapled to posts - are 20cm deep posts enough to take hammering this in?
* Probably no gate, but might add a cheap picket fence one with wire added
* Is it necessary to have any cross rails between posts? Or maybe a rail sitting on top of all the posts like pic below?
* If sawing posts in half, any need to paint/seal the cut end?
This is kind of what I'm imagining:

Thanks (DIY newbie!
