Funnily enough I never used to think "I want one of those" when I was a kid, and I never had a dream car until I started driving.

Purposely avoided supercars etc, as much as I love some, I always preferred the underdog supercar beater lol, and I'm not too sure I'd want to buy one, even if I were a millionairre... though I might be tempted by a Ferrari (for the experience short term) or an Aston.

What defines a supercar to you mate? I could never quite decide whether I would call the Cerbera a "supercar" despite it being as quick or quicker than pretty much all competition at the time (except things like the McLaren F1)

When I was around 13 (and with my Dad owning several Montego's) I took quite a liking to the MG Montego Turbo.

I thought the whole 'fast saloon' thing was awesome. Quite normal looking but goes like **** off a shovel.

I went for the next best thing...

A few years later and I started taking an interest in the Subaru Impreza. I still have a large folder with brochures, magazine cut-outs etc. I'll own one eventually

The Q4s are actually still worth quite a bit (although still a lot less than the Lancia), so you might need to leave off the 'her face + her body' style dreaming - the V6 and 2.0 are crazy cheap though.

When I was knee high to a grasshopper, the cars I always thought looked great have mostly already been mentioned.
The Alfa 155, Jaguar XJ220, Honda NSX, Mini etc.

The ones that haven't are the Alfa SZ, Mercedes SL and the er, Volvo 480ES.

Luckily, I bought a 155 rather than a nice 480 Turbo I saw advertised!

Yer S15s are cool too ... I'd "like one", but don't think I'd ever buy a Nissan though, just prefer Toyota, Honda and Subaru as companies.
It's the same for the Evo as well or FD
