Has the smallest 74Gb Raptor been removed frm the listings on the site?

Looking for one for my OS for me new build.

They are only avaliable as special order in large quantities I heard...

They seem to be going for about £40ish on a certain auction site so maybe have a look there.

Cant believe they are going for 40 quid.... There is also an 80gb version out there made by dell, saw some at a local computer fair... Have a search for them on the web if your desperate.. I think some are about.

The 74gb raptor is discontinued, the 74gb velociraptor has to be ordered in huge quantities and the last time we got them in they were a slow seller.

74gb is a good size but for the current price difference of a few pounds the 150gb one makes much more sense, why we no longer carry the 74gb veloci.

prices on raptors will not drop for a while imo due to them being the only (hope im right) high rpm HD makers.

This is exactly what I heard somewhere else I think they are made inspecial production runs....

I have one as my OS drive it could become a rare drive then :-)

I believe they are "short stroked" could you confirm this? As it performs slightly better than a 150gb velociraptor, which I also have...
