Anyone else heard of this... A friend of mine was approached by one of his friend's who's seemingly pestering him to get involved with this fantastic 'business opportunity'...

It seems to be the standard multi level marketing stuff and probably (IMO etc..) not a very good idea to get involved in - yet his friend seems absolutely convinced he's going to get a ton of cash, free BMW from recruiting people who recruit people who recruit people... and so on... to marked a drink..... seems a tad naive yet its seemingly getting popular in the UK.

nope as they will explain its definitely *NOT* a pyramid scheme its MLM and endorsed by *insert some celebrity they've paid*, lots of companies use multi level marketing *insert something about Amway, Avon etc..*

pyramid schemes get you to pay entry fees

totally legitimate fantastic MLM business opportunities get you to pay inflated sums of money for a big purchase(s) of 'product' - often the product is only bought by other people who also sign up to the scheme who then also attempt to recruit others below them to also buy and sell on product at prices which aren't exactly wholesale or allow for much in the way of profit margin...

see totally different and absolutely *NOT* a pyramid scheme :D

Sigh, reminds me of the people that are getting caught up in the Herbalife nonsense. How they don't see that it's a very simple pyramid baffles me!

I've got all the inside info on this one. If you just send me your account number and sort code in Trust I'll pass it to you . . . . .

A Friend of mine is deep into Market America (in the UK), he offered me membership but I declined as I really don't understand how it works.

In other words, it's a scam that depends on an ever expanding pool of gullible suckers entering the scheme

Another one is forever freedom.

My old boss from my last job quit a perfectly good job to join up with them, he's making a decent living getting people to sign up and be part of the fantastic unique not at all a scam opportunity he is offering.

It makes a a select few people an awful lot of money based on the stupidity of others.

i didnt even have to finish typing it into google :D

Euphony was another one for telecoms which a few of my friends got involved with because one guy was rocking a beemer and a free holiday per year.

Never heard of it before. But sounds exactly like a pyramid scheme to me.
