Is there going to be an all black version? Is there a headphone, mic and extra USB port on the back?

If so I am tempted to replace my Saitek Cyborg if it ever goes on offer.

Theres a single illuminated USB pass through at the back. No headphone/mic ports.

I was going to get one of these, but I was put off by not all of the switches being mechanical.
Is it slightly strange going from mechanical typing to the membrane with F1 etc?
I ended up going for a Razer Blackwidow myself.

I don't use the F keys etc anywhere near as much as the mechanical keys, so its not to bad.

It is true what people say about mechanical keyboards though, what with all the raving about how they "feel", you need to use one to experience it.

Because they are not tactile nor clicky, does this mean its silent to type on?
Or is it still quite loud to type on like the other mechanical keyboards?

Got a K90 also and its a really nice piece of kit. Superb for FPS games and vastly improved my BF3 enjoyment over the cheap dell wired keyboard I had before it.

can we have a little more feedback on how the switches feel please? im very tempted

The switches are hyper sensitive. If you catch the key next to the one you meant to press, it registers. The non mechanical keys feel really soggy after using the mechanical ones.

Programming the macro keys is easy, I find them very useful.

As mentioned previously, the price is the only thing that would put me off.

I can just imagine my fiance' smashing it over my head when I told her how much it was...so build quality has to be important too!
