Ventoy new laptop no mouse or touchpad

Been using ventoy for years on many comps 20+ iso's on it
now got a asus strix 18 and can not get any programme on it work with a mouse etc aomie mac reflect
even got mac reflect to make its oun rescue usb they all boot but no cursor
now i can't install windows onto my 4tb NVME
TURNED OF SECURE BOOT as well
 
doing this with all usb sticks and window 11 on a stick
Try boot Ventoy USB from UEFI. explaine more or is it something else in bios bios change

So just to check I'm reading this right, Ventoy boots fine (and whatever you pick to actually boot into from Ventoy), but the trackpad isn't working? What about a USB mouse?
 
Try boot from all USB ports to see if you have mouse cursor.

I googled found lots of reports no mouse cursor or no input when boot Ventoy from USB.

Try get a USB Hub to boot from USB after reported no input after booted from USB on Surface Pro tablet, he tried USB Hub and it finally got mouse worked.

You could try post issue on Ventoy forum or reddit.

 
Oh well Ventoy released latest version 1.1.00 yesterday.

If you still have laptop, you could give it last try to see if latest version fix it, if not then try download old versions to see if it help.
 
sorted it now
turn off safe boot
and that vxd
in bios

but the mouse now works and i see hard drives but still the mouse pad does not
managed to go back to 23H2 on a new nvme
