So it's not only me.
Major problems here. I find that a hard reset of my modem, router (20 minutes) seems to help for a bit. Think they maybe need a complaint.

I was wondering if they view Vent traffic mistakenly as p2p/torrents so are unnecessarily crippling it

Your not the only one. I was on Pipex around 3 months ago and could not use Vent from like 2pm - 2am. It was absoultly dire. Spoke to many people, too them we had no problems. But it was quite blatent we did when i had a 5000 ping or could not even connect to vent. Also playing HL2 and so on a 300 + ping is not good.

Eventually i thought sod this and got my MAC and moved away. never had any problems since - Xifos.net ***

Afriend of mine has the same problems, using ventrilo. His ping spikes and his vent times out. We've tried lowering the codec but still the same thing

Can I do a quike check on what Pipex services you guys with problems have.

I ask because the problems seemed to coincide with me going down from the Pipexmax to the Pipexmidi service. Different lines I guess but it still could have been a coincidence. Considering upgrading again and if that solves I'd like to know.
