Are there any Veracrypt experts out there in OCUK land?
I've used Truecrypt and Veracrypt for years, but I've just clean installed Win10 April Update and I can't get it to encrypt the SSD.
First I got a "Secure Boot Violation" error message at the first Pretest boot (same as in the link below).
I followed the advice on this page https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1016356 to disable Secure Boot.
After that Windows boots and Veracrypt starts to encrypt the drive, but the machine just switches off after a few seconds during this process.
Then it's impossible to recover the drive. Windows tries the diagnose the fault, but like always fails.
I either have to restore an image or reformat Windows.
I've tried the above twice and always get the same results.
