Verifying DMI Pool Data......

Okay, so I've waited two weeks for this sytem arrived, and was very glad when it finally did today. Everything connected as i should, all componants installed as they should (pre-built & checked), but on first boot up, I get the amazing Verifying DMI Pool Data hang problem.

Waiting on OC response before I start picking up the phone, and wondered if anyone had some advice in the meantime? I could understand if this was a few years old, but it only just got here

So far I've attempted the step by step strip and rebuild approach, but to no joy. The error showed every step of the way. I'm usually a rather patient person with electronics. But when over £1000 is spent, the delivery turns into a disaster and it doesn't work on arrival - I get tetchy.

Turns out Windows 7 wasn't installed. Now it's working fine.

I'll go make my claim
