Vertex 2E not showing up in crystal info/ssd life?

When i started my system it ran a chkdsk, and a few drivers then did not load correctly, so i thought i'd check my OS drive to see if all was ok. I've installed the two main programs, but neither detect my drive, am i doing something really stupid here?

anyone? Im not also getting hard system crashes every 4 or so hours, I've checked RAM and its ok, but i'd like to see if its the SSD that's the issue.
