Vertex 2E -Vs- F60

Morning,

Just after an SSD upgrade and deciding between the two:

1) OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB (285r/275w)
2) Corsair Force 60GB (285r/275w)

Both are the same price roughly and have same spec, same controller, same warranty etc

Anything that would sway you from one to the other? Only thing i can see is the superb support you get on the OCZ forums ...

Anyone got any input?

both sandforce drives (they re basically 99% the same). The corsiar uses a beta firmware to allow faster speeds over other sandforce drives and the OCZ has a good relationship with sandforce so uses a normal firmware to achieve these speeds. (according to custompc). In their review, the OCZ was top closely followed by the corsair.

Persoanlly, get the OCZ.

I'd go for the OCZ in my opinion. They seem a bit more regular with firmware updates.

FYI, it's not a "beta" firmware on the F60 drive. The only betas were used on the early F100/F200 drives.
