Vertex 3 - causing windows freeze?

Got my Vertex 3 (120GB) on Wednesday, and have installed a fresh install of W7 on it, but occasionally I'm experiencing W7 freezing... It always seems to freeze for atleast 30 seconds, sometimes it comes back, other times I restart before. I tend to always restart as soon as it freezes now, as I can restart in about 30 seconds, so it's usually quicker to restart than wait to see if it responds again.

I haven't tried a new W7 install yet (might give it a go later today), but was just wondering if anyone knows that the Vertex 3 drives could cause this if faulty etc?

This is the reason it has put me of buying one of them, but there are plenty of other members having no issues at all, but I am ordering a crucial M4 128Gb for my new system.

Just thought I would update this, as I forgot to before.

I had a look through those links, and, as suggested, enabled hotplugging on my SATA ports, and I haven't had a problem since, just constant speed.
