Vertex 3 speed slow?

I've had my first SSD,a vertex 3 120gb for 2 days now and compared to other speeds I've seen posted it seems quite slow. I've ran the AS ssd benchmark tool and it says

PCIIDE - BAD

Firmware is 2.11

is the pci thingy the issue? if so how do I fix

running AMD chipset

Your SATA setting in the BIOS is set to IDE mode, not ACHI which is better for that drive. You'll have to set the mode to ACHI, but first you need to check this out:

This should be a sticky but you should use ATTO to bench the Vertex drives.
