£3.33 /GB for the 120..... No Thanks.
6 months from now SSD's will be out that are twice as fast and half the price - Solid state storage is the fastest evolving market segment at the moment.
I'm waiting for Vertex/Intel or Better performance at £1/GB before I replace my two Raptors.

Im seriously considering holding out on buying an SSD right now, prices are a joke and in real world usage two F1's in RAID 0 will cost about the same as a single 120GB OCZ while delivering better performance bar access time.

Unfortunately it's not a matter of us "pulling a stunt". Flash pricing has gone up massively lately (an example of this I can give you is Freecom Databars - 8GB have gone up by £4 and 16GB have gone up by £6. The SSD's have far more memory on than a flash pen does so you get the idea). If we'd only sold a few of these then pricing could remain the same but these have been incredibly popular so we are having to rebuy new stock straight away at a much higher price. If you have a login for DramExchange then you can see the increases for yourself.

When the 30gb will be available again?

We're hoping to get more 30GB later this week but OCZ aren't terribly reliable.

you're missing the whole point like most who keep saying they will wait, they're OS/Boot performance drives not dump drives ....100+MB/s minimum sustained transfer and 0.1ms isn't fast enough for a boot drive???

I must admit I was thinking the same as the guy before.. I was going to wait until all aspects of SSD were better than HDD's, but I'm glad I didn't wait. My SSD array is performing beautifully for me. Windows is so responsive! It's brilliant :).

totally agree. the responsiveness you get from them are worth every penny (for the samsung£100 ones anyway)

i use them as well as a big drive for my data, but just having the OS and apps on the SSDs makes so much difference.

I dont care about boot times I only boot the pc once a day its when your in windows its a blast just selling off my Apex and core v2's as got my superfast intel drives comming tomorrow. I run mine off raid card so boot is long anyway
