Vertical lines on screen

got the card back today and from what I can tell after playing with the listing picture, it is the same card. unless he managed to swap circuit boards, replacing coolers and stickers lol

I sold my old R9 270x on ebay and the guy said that he is having problems with the card. he said it isn't working properly and is getting lines/artifacts going up the screen, looking at the picture here, does anyone know what this is?

Yeah I've seen that before had it myself on a b-grade R9 290 that failed after a few months. The card is dead and needs RMA-ing, if possible. Whether its your card or his old card who's to tell.... if it was me I'd post the serial number of the card on the auction listing itself. Not a guarantee against fraud but it should at least make them look elsewhere for easier targets.

edit: ok so it is your old card. Bad luck, I guess.
