Hey, i play diablo 3 and somtimes i see lines across my screen they kina look blurry. I dont see them a lot and there not to noticeable but im wondering what it means? Is my card damaged or is it just the refresh rate differences

One other thing is if i don use vertical sync can my card become damaged?

Not exactly sure what you are talking about, but something similar happens to me on GTA IV now and then. I'm using a couple of 6870's. Both cards are fine and it occurs just on that game. Wouldn't worry at all, specially if it's only on Diablo III.

It will probably be the v-sync. Just enable v-sync in the graphicas card options of your drivers and your good to go.

It will synconize your monitor refresh rate with the frames per second and you will not get screen tearing but will limit your game to 60fps which will be fine.

Don't worry, not using Vsync won't damage your card - it just means the card is working to generate more frames than it needs to.

I use Vsync on all my games, simply as it gets rid of all these split frames you are describing.

ohhhhhh ok cheers for the replys guys, the V-Sync option is on the game though not on the card options as i only ever install the driver. I enabled it once before and it made my game feel sluggish for some reason, but in the options there is a foreground fps option and its set to 150? Should i reduce it to 60
