I've been looking at a video of a japanese fella playing drums on a keyboard.

I want one of those keyboards! And I want it now.

I've trawled the net looking for possible vendors of said item.

Why oh why do they all have to be online order only?

Why can't you just jump in the car and drive somewhere and actually buy it

If OCUK sold them I'd drive down from Chesterfield right now.

I know I could have one delivered from somewhere in a couple of days but whatever happened to being able to physically buy things????

Rant over :)

You can pick up a USB/MIDI keyboard from most music shops. To be honest, having them combined is a bit gimicky and I would imagine you'd get fed up of it.

The Yamaha PSR series I think can all do drums. We have a 275 and a 295 that don't cost much new and you could probably get second hand.

You can't physically buy things like that because nobody wants one - it's such a minority appeal I'm sure the online places you saw it don't even stock it but direct ship when they get an order.

I really don't see why you want it but if you do you'll have to get it to order because it's fairly specialist.

lol i sent my mate that video a few weeks ago and 2 days later he bought one , has used it about twice

youd be much better of with a midi keyboard and some software IMO

Yeah pop down to your nearest city, and find a sound control shop... they'll have the sub 100 USB keyboards, but really like others have said a Korg X3 or similar from fleebay might be a better option

Done!

M-audio Keystation 49e. 59 quid from Sound Control in town. Just got back.

I only want it for replacing the drum / cymbal finishes on my Elvis backing tracks. For some reason the makers of the backing tracks fade the drum crashes out rather than blasting the room to hell.

Worth a try.

LOL. You weren't joking were you. :D

Post some Cozy Powell-esque drum solos for us to enjoy.
