VERY cool pug

Whilst I'm sure it's an absolulute experience to drive what with the Cossie running gear, I can't help but look at it and feel rather unwell. As far as I'm concerned it is a mish mash of different body parts, some of which clearly haven't been designed to complement the original car, let alone fit. It looks hideous.

I hate 206s but that is just amazing

Very nicely done indeed. Except for the front bumper, it looks wrong.

6 spoke white compo's?

gorgeous :D

that pug does look fantastic, tho im not sure about the front bumper, just doesnt seem right.

Saw it last week when i was @ a 205 pug meet, Looked and SOUNDED amazing :D

The whole concept is great up until the bodykit. I saw this in the flash not long back at pugfest. Looks great up close, craftsmanship is really good but then the kit isn't to my taste. Tt's the full WRC kit minus the 747 wings on the boot.

To be honest I'd rather have it as a sleeper, just adjusting the looks where neccesary like rolling the arches etc. I've been thinking of doing the same with a 2.5 litre scooby lump if I still have my 206 in a couple of years. 4x4 would be great fun on such a small wheelbase.

It looks like in the first pic the whole thing has been seam welded alongside the rollcage fitment. I bet that alone cost 5-8k.

I'm assuming that because it was a uni project then the majority of all the design work would have been self-completed. Also would have probably had access to a lot of equipment and machinery so the majority of labour could have been self doen aswell.

Lovely project :) What power is it running?
I have no idea but as it's on Bosch 803 injectors it's probably 300-330ish bhp

Tell me where the guy is located (or the forum where you found it)!!!!

I'm sure I saw that exact 206 driving about in Burgess Hill last Saturday! I thought it was just some chavved up 206 with plastic bits all over it. But it appears I may be very wrong!

the pics were taken at a Surrey Rs meet

Cosworth running gear+ANY body shell= a complete riot to play with.

i'm sure Ish will agree with me on this one.
AGREED :D

i thought mo's were 5 spokes?
could tell these were compo's tho, but thought it would be a different model name.

they were 5 spoke but compo changed the design and they are now 6 spokes. the 5 spoke version is not available anymore.

looks arent really to my taste, looks like a supersize ford ka, but im sure it goes like a bat out of hell so it get a thumbs up from me.

i drove the Dimma 205 demonstrator with the same running gear and running somewhere around 350 brake.
it was a really naughty little thing, possibly the best de-stressing tool i'm aware of.

as for the subject of the front bumper i'm thinking the photographs are giving it the wrong perspective.i reckon in the flesh it'd look complimentary to the rest of the kit.
