For high and 4k at say 60fps you going to need SLI. Some on here will tell you better. I don't think a single GPU will run well @4k high settings.

I'm not after fancy stuff like antialiansing or fxaa or stuff like that really, just graphics and textures on high or very high with the 4k resolution ?

If you was to say run everything low and texture high you could be OK. But again am not really one for saying as I never used 4k
Texture need vram and so does resolution so you still might struggle.

I am interested to know if these cards will support 4k with full high settings on in every current and foresable new game that I play within the next one -two years ?

Sorry for the confusion, by 4k settings on full, I meant the basic standard stuff like texture, graphics options and the 4k resolution ;)

I am also thinking about getting my dad to bring me to the overclockers shop in Newcastle, I want to be certain the Samsung 4K Monitor is as awesome as it seems to be online

I have purchased one of these recently, and I am interested to know if these cards will support 4k with full high settings on in every current and foresable new game that I play within the next one -two years ?

Please advise ?

I am upgrading my hardrive with new Graphics Cards, and yes I am very loyal to Nvidia, ;)

nop even having 4 of them wont help you because of the memory, you are talking 2 years down the road, the 780Ti already struggles with 2012 games in 4k, and see it's performance drop compared to a 290 that performs lower at 1080p.
once devs wont make multiplatform titles that run on last gen console, game will see a significant step up, and current gen have 8go of combined memory.
get 6Go version or go for titan blacks, or if you dont mind turning down settings, would be a wast though

Before doing that check that they have one on display.

Personally I wouldn't buy a monitor in store.

If you decide you don't like it you have no legal right to return it.

If it has the odd dead/faulty pixel you have no legal right to return it.

The legislation isn't quite as consumer friendly as it was a little while ago but you have more rights on returning non-faulty goods if you have them delivered - The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Oh, well that's unfortunate and an disapointment :(

How recently did you purchase it and did you have it delivered?

You may be able to return it for a refund if that's the what you want to do.

I've had it for about an month, and it's installed in my computer, is it possible to SLI an different model like the Titan and would they work and be compatable together ?

dont get me wrong you can run 4k, and perform ok with 3 way sli, but you will need to always tweak settings to use less than 3Go.
also about the monitor if you can find the new ASUS PB287Q 4K UHD 28-in Monitor, it's the same panel as the samsung, 60hz, 1ms and all that, but has better stand a lot more flexible, and MSRP supposed to be 50$ cheaper also.

nop you can't sli with titan, sli with 780ti 6Go version would still use only 3Go ( im guessing it's possible never tried though :p)

As you've had it that long then you won't be able to return it unless the seller has a very generous returns policy.

I believe you can only SLI with another 780 Ti.

I think 6GB versions will be available in the future but you wouldn't be able to SLI with one of those as the cards need to have the same amount of VRAM.

Just to check is your motherboard SLI compatible?

What's the spec. of your system?
