OK so did an upgrade today with parts as follows
I7 9700k
Asus Rog Strix z390-f Motherboard
Samsung 970 evo plus V-Nand ssd
Fresh install of windows 10 pro on the samsung.
All drivers updated for components except bios flashing for the Motherboard.
My boot time is averaging three and a half mintues, ive barely added any programs etc.
It just doesnt feel like a normal boot time to me.
What should i be checking?

Try safe mode to see what's taking so long, what does it says for Bios Time in Task Manager > Start Up after a proper Restart (not a shutdown which is Hybrid by default).

Last bios time was 131.7 secs
Ive updated to latest bios, and latest samsung driver. It just seems to sit on the Republic of gamers screen for quite a while and then the rog screen reappears and the little spinning circle will appear to show activity.
Not really sure what else to try.

I would disable that splash screen anyhow.

My Bios Time is 2.3secs but my Window install is getting on and slow to boot and do things but will hold out on next update to clean install.
