Very strange graphical issue

When I open the steam browser I see vertical banding lines moving from right to left. I took a screen shot, and the screen shot does it too. Which means its a gfx card or monitor problem. Any ideas?

Can you see the bands too?
 
No.

Are you running DVI or Analogue?

If your Analogue try pressing the Auto Tune button and check your refresh. TFT's prefer 60Hz any more on analogue can cause funnies.

tried auto adjust but it doesnt go away

should be getting a new monitor next week so will see if it just this tv
 
On certain colours/shades, the banding becomes obvious on some monitors/tfts. It's probably just your screen to be honest and nothing to worry about. The dark pasty colours do tend to show the refresh up on lcd's though, I think it's pretty common.

Wouldn't worry about it, just accept it.
