Hi everyone

I've a strange issue with one website (that I know of) on one PC.

It loads up but doesn't load any graphics or formatting so the words are there in black, hyperlinks in blue and there's just a white background.

It does it on one PC on Chrome, Firefox and Opera and it's only been doing it for a few days, it was fine before.

Here's the weird thing...it works on another PC in the same room on the same net connection.

I've tried clearing the cache in Chrome using Ccleaner but that hasn't helped at all.

What on earth can be causing one webpage to suddenly not load properly but only on one PC?

I'm absolutely stumped and can't find anything online as the problem is so vague.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks. :)

Thanks for the reply.

I did wonder that, I checked Kaspersky but nothing seems to be blocked or have any rules against it, I've also enabled the URL in the URL advisor settings.

Now that you've suggested that as well I think I'll have another dig into the settings, see if I've missed anything, it's not always the easiest software to work with!

*edit* Ah ha, it is Kaspersky, I just paused the protection, refreshed the site and it loaded correctly! Something has changed obviously, thanks for the hint, I shall investigate further!

Just thought I'd add to this in case anyone else experiences a similar thing.

It was Kaspersky Anti-banner, obviously there had been an update which had blocked the site so adding it to the allowed list of URLs fixed the problem.
