Well i have quite a large problem!
I bought a Western Digital Caviar SE in feb...and yesterday it died...in a very weird way...taking the dvdrw down with it! Damn thing.
The problem is this; When the hard drive is plugged in to the psu, the psu seems to go on...then just cut off (wont get to post, it makes the fans twitch but thats it!!) it then seems to knock the psu off totaly for a while, i have to unplug the kettle lead and flick the switch to get it back working.
Currently, i am using a friends hard drive with no problems at all, but the dvdrw still doesnt work (its dead..no power at all)
Have tried using different molex connections, doesnt make a difference. Cant be a driver issue as its just not turning on.
What the hell is up with it!!! Please help me!!
