Hi I have just bought an MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24. To replace my Gigabyte. The screw's that come with it are to short to fit my arm. They are longer than the gigabyte one's l, so I can't use them. But they are just to short.

Can you get some longer ones.
 
VESA mounts and screws are a bit of a pain - you can get a mix of M3 and M4 screw sizes of varying lengths required depending on the monitor and VESA bracket.

You can get a screw kit quite cheaply but they usually start at M4 as they are more TV oriented - some monitors might use M3.

They should be M4, since that's what the VESA spec says. It's easy enough to measure them to make sure (M4 = 4mm thread diameter, M3 = 3mm). Either way, they are very commonly available from anywhere that sells screws.

Some of my Philips monitors use M6 (probably due to being adapted from their TV line rather than monitor line) but annoyingly a different length to the normal for TVs, you can get smaller monitors which use M3, etc.

EDIT: Googled the model and it says M4x10 - I assume that is what you mean by VESA spec says.

M6 is for larger displays - it wouldn't even fit through the mounting holes of the more common size monitor arms. I don't doubt that M3 ones exist, but that's a bad choice on the part of the manufacturers.

By VESA spec I mean the standard published by VESA. Of course VESA don't make it easy for normal people to see the spec, but other places publish the relevant parts of it, e.g. https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/support/vesa-standard

Been a pain in the arse a few times having to dig through my spare parts to find the right sizes and spacers/washers for a number of monitors.
 
I should mention not to get ones that are too long, because they might poke into the monitor and touch something they shouldn't. So if you have 10mm screws that are too short, try 12 or 14mm ones, not 20+.
 
Not the prettiest solution but why not shove some washers behind the monitor arm side to increase the depth for the screw...

Having said that I bought a multipack of mounting screws from the usual online shopping store.... worked fine and came in loads of different lengths in M4, M5, M6, M8, only cost like 9 quid...
