VGA and Hz settings

I have looked and cudnt see what i was after. Trying to play Halo 2 on my monitor but it says the VGA doesnt support 50hz ive gone back to SD and switched that to 50hz and tried but nowt :confused:

Do i have to lower the res or something to get it to 50? Quite annoying really

My halo 2 works fine on PAL 60 with the vga cable. I changed it from 50hz to 60 hz using the standard cable.

doh i got some window telling me it doesnt support it and it goes back to the dashboard :confused:

That's very weird. Are you trying to update the game?

its updated once, i put the halo 2 map pack in and it comes up with that

Ah I only ever had issues when updating and had to switch to PAL 60 on my VGA connection to update the game.
