VGA Splitter

So I just recently got a new 7950, which has just one dvi port on the back. However I have two VGA monitors and for the time being I'm just running the main one through a dvi/vga converter. But I was wondering to get them both connected in extended desktop mode would simply using a VGA splitter connected to the dvi/vga converter work ? :confused:

I splitter will just copy the image onto both screens, it wont even pick up that there is a second monitor. What are all the outputs you have on it?

You will probably need another Vga converter for another output.

Thats a mini Displayport.

I think you can get Mini Displayport to VGA adapters, but there is some stuff about passive and active that i'm not too sure about.

Hopefully someone else can shed some light.
