Vibration Gaming Headset?

I’ve watched a video clip on YouTube showing that ASUS has launched a gaming headset with force feedback function. But to tell the truth, I can’t see how the headset “vibrated” when the reporter used it from the video. Could any of you know how it works? Or could anyone recommend similar vibration headsets to me? Indeed I enjoy playing FPS games and action movies very much, so I’m really interested in this concept, thx.

Also mention that I’ve google this product (Cinevibe) and surprisingly found that it is “top 10 cool gadget in Cebit.” If you too are interested in the concept, you can go for the video clip on YouTube:

Its likely to use a miniture version of transducer technology similar to what Buttkicker use in their range of products. It converts low end bass frequencies into a rumble/vibration effect you can feel.

I dont know how good or maybe how annoying this would be but Buttkicers are excellent.

I had a set... Well still got a set, it was good for about 30mins then it began to tickle :(
Sometimes straight away.

Prefer stereo headphones now!

I used to have a pair before I got my HD555s, the kick from the bass was pretty damn nice if you were playing the right sort of games - was annoying for music though.

^^ And I'll stick to my Goldring's.

I honestly can't understand why so many people love Astro's, TB's etc. when headphones are much higher quality and just as compatible with mixamps. Wireless functionality maybe, but does it really kill to wear a mic around your neck?

I have the bass running through my soundrocker anyway, I prefer the feeling of good bass to an actual vibration anyway, its more satisfying.

Also I'm not too sure if this guys for real either, I just did a search on them, and while I'm not particularly impressed, I did notice this exact thread on several different forums, and he does seem overly optimistic for such a cheap looking device.

I smell advertising...
