After many hours of boredom recently I have decided to try and dabble in the world of video editing. It has always interested me, yet I have always been scared off in the past due to the complexity. I have some tutorials on how to use the relevant software for editing, but am now lacking a vital ingredient, some video footage!
I can always capture footage from video games to use, but this is all too often a little dull. Ideally what I would like is perhaps a pack of short video clips that I can use to practice video transitions/effects etc. I am not bothered what the content of the video is (to a certain extent!) as long as it is has some movement in it to make things a little more exciting to mess around with. Given I don't want to be paying for anything I'm not expecting any video captured by a highly trained professional cameraman/crew.
So my request to you, fellow forum go-ers, is do you know where I could source such video clips? Any tips/ideas would be very welcome.
