Video creation from jpgs

I've got a series of jpg images that I'd like to somehow animate into a video, can anyone recommend some software and a quick overview of how I'd do it?

This is the collage of individual images :

download Mencoder

then run :
mencoder "mf://*.jpg" -o movie2.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=wmv2

Adobe Premiere can do it if you have access to the software.

Otherwise Quicktime Pro can do it for a slightly cheaper option. If this is a one-off and you're looking for a free solution I'm afraid I don't know of anything, Sorry.

http://www.virtualdub.org/ - freeware, you can put images together and set the fps - you cant encode as wmv though

Can't get easier than mencoder though, just throw in that 1 line and your done.

You can also add the pictures into Windows Movie Maker and create a video that way.

You got a link to this? I can find an OSX version and GUI version but not sure which version I need for the command line interface
