Hi,

I'm looking for a good build that will mainly be used for handling photo and video editing along with some 3D modelling. I'll be working with 4K resolution files a lot of the time. My budget is around £700 for this.

If anyone could spec me a good video editing build, that's be great!

Thanks :)

What software will you be using? Will you also need a copy of Windows? Sounds like an i7 will help a lot with what you want, with maybe a decent GPU for hardware acceleration if the software you use supports CUDA/OpenCL.

As said above an i7 would be ideal. Either the 3770k/4770k using hypertheading or a 3930k (a bit out of budget) would do you well..

I think for video rendering CUDA helps, so an NVIDIA card would be advised.

I'll be using After Effects and most other Adobe products, and Sony Vegas along with Cinema 4D.
