Purchase Timeframe: Near future
Budget: £1,000 - £1,500
Usage: Mainly video editing 4K 60FPS GoPro and mobile phone footage
Preferences: Always been an Intel and Geforce man but willing to be flexible if better bang for buck
Current Hardware: My current setup is a i7 13700H laptop with 32GB of Corsair 3200Mhz DDR 2x16GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce RTX4060 laptop graphics card. The Windows 11 operating drive is a 1TB Seagate Firecuda 530 Gen 4 PCIe NVMe and my second drive is a 1TB Corsair Force MP600 NVMe M.2 SSD that I use to store all the video edits I'm working on.
Peripherals: Just the computer as I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers.
Special Needs/Requirements (inc Wi-Fi): Must have Wifi connectivity, at least 2 drives with 2 to 4 TB of storage as a whole (eg 2x1TB drives or 2x2TB drives). It would be good to have 32GB of RAM too.
A few years ago I bought myself a laptop to do some video editing on as I was never in one place so a computer wasn't a viable option. Fast forward to now and I now have my own little office to work in so a computer is now viable. As much as the laptop is great and does what I need, I'm not sure how long it'll last before the screen falls off and the components are begging for mercy . I have built my own PC in the past and am willing to do it again if I have to but would prefer if there was something pre-built or through a custom PC builder website.
As I've mentioned above, my main use is editing GoPro and phone footage at 4K 60fps. I don't do nothing too fancy and currently don't use a massive amount of effects in my edits. I do some gaming on the side when spare time allows but this is only at 1440p and I'm not fussed about having everything set to ultra. So is it possible to have a video editing rig for £1,000? I could push to £1,500 if I had to. Thank you for any suggestions in advance .

. At the moment I'm in the position that if the laptop dies or suffers any BIG issues, I'm up the creak without a paddle
