Video editing software

Looking for a video editing software for windows, something that'd be easy to use with some nice features, tried Windows Movie Maker but i find it lack of some basic and and essential features...

I'm doing a load of Video editing in Adobe Premiere and After effects, but it's not cheap software by any stretch of the imagination.

Adobe Premiere is a great one to use but if your on a budget try Avid Express Pro

Pinnacle Studio 11 Plus, nice eand easy for the newbie with some good features.

No budget limit really as long as it's a software that will serve my needs, I am willing to pay what it takes.

i'm not familiar with video editing software in terms of whats out there, but have u tried sony vegas? i think u get a 30day trial, not sure what full version will cost though.

Yes, but I'd suggest getting the suite with applications like After Effects, Encore and Soundbooth if you're doing this seriously.

There's an affordable but still very capable cut down version of Sony Vegas.

Anyway, there's a trial version and I went through all the various editors before settling on this one for ease of use. The full version is much more impressive, but way too expensive for messing about at home with IMO.

My favourite editing application is Pinnacle Liquid (now Avid Liquid, I think), so I'd try a few before you sink a few hundred quid in to buying one.
