Video Games Not to Blame for Violence

ok i may be missing part of the news story, but didnt the boy ramble on about religion and the fact he was bullied as his motive, so where is the link between the Virginia Tech shootings and video games :S Unfortunatly the americans will no doubt use video games as a scape goat rather than blame the fact that anyone can by a gun without proper checks

Apparently he played Counter Strike in high school and it taught him how to use a gun. Tough one to work out I'm sure, hole in one end and a trigger.

Apparently being mentally insane isn't enough of a reason to kill people, you have to play a computer game as well.

Of course video games cause violence. Only yesterday I was reminiscing with a mate about the time I grabbed this chick and scaled this half built building. In the end I ended up throwing these barrels at the plumber when he came to see what all the bother with his girlfriend was.

Strange thing that, because his girlfriend kept calling him 'Jumpman', yet I saw him not long back and apparently he goes by 'Mario' now. :confused:

Some idiot tried to tell me that computers games led to violent behaviour the other day.

Suffice to say that after introducing him to my arsenal of rocket launchers, plasma weapons and chainsaw, he changed his mind.

all i play is fps games so constantly killing things and tbh i cant kill spiders in my house, i always gotta put them out the door lol

Not me! My daily playing of these so called "killing simulators" mean I can slaughter spiders, rats, wolves, bears by the 1000's and never bat an eyelid.

Luckily for my neighbours I can't go around on a killing rampage with my 8 foot long axe since I'm utterly stumped about how go get out my house. Theres a 1 foot high kerb around it...
