video passthrough denon 1610

I have the above amp and I can't seem to get my sky box to pass through reliable with the amp switched off. It works sometimes but not every time and I wondered if anyone on here had any ideas?

Just a thought, I have a Denon av amp but its the AVR-2809. On mine the pass through will only be the last input the amp was set to when it was on.

So switch it on, set it to Sky, switch amp off. Passthrough should work.

My Denon has an option to set passthrough to last input or a specific input.

I can choose hdmi 1, 2 3 or last. I had it set to what sky is plugged into (hdmi 3) so ive changed to last and ill see what happens.
