Video PC - 3*80GB RAID or 1*150GB Raptor

Hi,

Just wondering which would be better in terms of perfomance for a basic video editting PC, seeing as a RAID card and 3 * 80GB SATA drives can be picked for the same as 1 * 150GB Raptor.

Will they be your only drives? Tbh if they are, you havent really got enough storage space for a video editing machine. I'd be looking at 300gb upwards as the minimum for video editing.
 
Fair enough, but at work I often end up with huge files during video editing. As for the Speed, i'd probably go with the 150gb raptor due to it being a lot less hassle. Also the reduced access time will help with general use.
