My Dad did too

He bought his first computer with Win 3.1 when Win95B was already out.
A 200MHz Pentium MMX with 64Mb RAM = monster

I think the guy missed Windows ME off that video. I think I was the only person who found it to be more stable than any Win98 release to be honest...

The install times for 95, 98 and XP seemed quite lengthy. My floppy disc version of 95 and the 3.11 discs that I used to upgrade it from could never have taken that amount of time, surely? Then again I did have more time to burn as a lad...

Well, I actually preffered 3.11 for Workgroups over Windows 95. That was a very disappoiniting upgrade, and for a long while I didn't use it. Pre 95, Windows knew its place.

It was just another program.

Once you get to XP however, that argument does get a bit weak though.

A garish/clashing colour scheme was surely something to be proud of? Especially when displayed on a school or work computer.
