Have you been to Laos? That is within striking distance between cambodia and vietnam so it may be worth visiting there too. I would do camdoia first, Lao and then cross over to Sapa vietnam(you can see my sapa pics here) and then make your way down vietnam visiting places like hanoi, hoi an, saigon etc.

Below was taken on the last night in Hanoi vietnam before i took a domestic flight to another town in vietnam

Finally got around to looking at all your photos on here, good stuff!

We've decided in the past week that we want to do Vietnam & Cambodia. Pushed for time a little as we are down to 4.5 weeks due to work now so don't want to try and rush Laos.

We've made a list of the places we'd like to visit so would be great if I can bend your ear a little and get some tips for getting around from place to place. Laptop about to die on me so will post again in a short while...

Will have a look through these properly tonight. Noticed a 50cc scooter on your flickr. How did you go about hiring one as I've read it's illegal in Vietnam unless you have a Vietnamese driving licence although the police over there don't really check.

Yea you are correct you do need a licence but it vietnam money talks and so long as you got the cash to pay for a scooter they dont care if you have a licence or not
