Viewing digital camera photos on TV

My neighbours have a digital camera which uses XD cards. They have just bought a Panasonic TV with an SD card slot. They were aware that (to date) there are no XD>SD adaptors.
They can plug the camera into the TV using a composite video lead, but the quality isn't very good. The camera also has a USB lead to connect to a PC or a TV with a USB socket. The TV has a D-Sub 15 pin connector for a PC, and component video inputs.
They have no PC so cannot convert XD to SD cards.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to view the XD card contents on the TV? A multicard reader with a D-Sub connection would seem to be a good route, but I can't find anything on the web.
I'd be very grateful if anyone could offer any help or ideas.

Sumvision make a media centre enclosure, has a card reader and takes a hard drive. if you stick a hard drive in it, you then get a viewer to view photo's and a hard drive to back them up on. seen them for around £30 without a hard drive. Dunno if that's an acceptable solution, but it may do the trick...

Oh and i've seen xd to sd converters before, just not recently....

I had a look at the Sumvision. Unfortunately it is discontinued, and has a USB interface.Thanks for info. anyway

well baring anything similiar, they're stuck then....digital photo frame that accepts xd cards?
try fleabay for a second hand unit, and the one I saw connected via your tv set, and was shown displaying pics from an xd card in a slideshow....which as far as I can tell is exactly what they're after!

Thanks for suggestion. I had a look at photo frames for them, and it seems only Sony do them with TV out. I reckon they could get a new SD camera cheaper (bearing in mind their current Fuji), and I'll convert their current XDs to SDs on my PC. As their current frame accepts SD the SD camera route seems better as no new wiring needed and frame can stay where it is.

sandisk do a card reader with tv out... was a vodfone promotion item at one time has its own psu so can be used for tv viewing accepts sd/mmc/sony/cf/xd as well so can be used on pc as a usb hub as well and seperate as a reader for tv viewing plays movies from camera as well
