Hi there, I know this is an annoying problem that effects us all, but is there any way to view content on a pc that has installed ie7 and ie6 so I can make sure that my web is displaying correctly in both. I have created a seperate ie6.css file but cannot see where the problem with the divs pushing down is occuring, I know it is most likely something to do with padding bug, I have padding and margin set to 0,0 in the container div. I keep having to use a windows 2000 pc in our office, which is not practical :p

Thanks

I use Virtual PC with different OS's and browsers. Takes a while setting it up but once there I can check cross-platform within minutes.

Multiple IE is a very handy web dev tool.

A pity they haven't released a version that will work under Vista OS.

There's a "sort of" workaround for it, but its a bit of a PITA.

Nice app for anyone running XP though.

I'm not very trusting of any of the workaround solutions, like MultipleIEs or IETester, simply because they don't reproduce a 'real' production environment like a virtual machine install does. Meaning you can't be confident in validating bugfixes. MultipleIE I've found in particular to be pretty buggy with javascript, like simply refusing to even run any .NET Ajax stuff (not that I recommend using that anyway).
