Hi all so sometime down the line i was thinking about going for the Titan X GPU. I already have a nice OCUK Black edition gtx 970. But anyways long sotry does my current set up minus the 970 capable of running a Titan X?

Intel Xeon CPU E3-1230 v3 3.3ghz
16gb Memory
Corsair Builder Series CX 600W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Corsair Hydro H60 V2 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
MSI Z97I Gaming ACK Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard
500gb caviar blac HDD
System OS on Samsung 250gb SSD
Bitfenix prodigy Mini itx

So is this okay set upto slap a Titan into lol

What resolution will you be running?

I agree with the above, the 980Ti for most resolutions, if not all is a better value proposition, however the Titan X is the generally faster card (only by a slight amount)

Oh well i went straight to titan section should have looked at the 980ti... Seems damn lot better as you say money wise. Plus to answer the above 1980x1020

Wait for 980ti stocks to settle and then go for one of the more improved non-reference models like the MSI Gaming or Gigabyte G1. Then overclock that sucker and laugh in the face of Titan X.

Or just wait till Pascal. 970 is decent enough to hold yo over till then.
