Viewsonic VP201B

Could anyone tell me how this "oldish" Viewsonic (VP201B) stands up to more recently released monitors? When it was first released i read a lot of reviews about how it was simply one of the best gaming/all round LCD's out there. Is this still the case or has screen technology moved on in the last couple of years?

it's moved on a fair bit really. Responsiveness has certainly improved a LOT since the days of the 16ms S-IPS panels. However, many people find these panels fine for gaming anyway but with the arival of newer 20" models in the last year or so, i dont see much point in looking at dated models like the VP201
