ViewSonic XG2073-GS 165Hz IPS G-Sync. Anyone else interested in this?

Pretty much decided to give the monitor upgrade a miss here.

Having used the Dell 2716SG for a while with no BLB and lovely gaming pic but horrible everything else I went back to my Hazro 27".

There has always been a little BLB in the corners and is a little more noticeable having come from the Dell TN panel. But nowhere near as bad as the above. Mine has a little like the bottom left of the above pic in each corner.

At £700+ for these IPS G-Syncs they are simply not worth the grief IMO.

That doesn't look great, and I ended up returning my first two U2713HM monitors for the same reason but I just learned to live with the third one. I don't even notice it any more tbh.

Anyways, it's all moot because the price of the Viewsonic shot up from £600 to £750 overnight :(

I bought a used one from the rainforest for £450, So I'm just going to keep it until OLED is out for the mainstream, No way I'd pay 700+ though, It's crazy.

That's not a bad price at all if it was in very good condition. I think I'm inclined to agree with you though. I simply cannot justify £750 for a monitor that cost £600 yesterday.

I might just get something like a Dell U2515H to tide me over until HDR is properly adopted since I use the Rift for 90% of the gaming I do.

Yeah there is nothing wrong at all with the monitor just the BLB which all these gaming IPS monitors seem to have problems with right now anyway, The Dell looks like a good option if you only use the Rift really
