Here is a list of the things I would like to have in my new build. I will be using the system for Gaming, Intensive Designing, and serious Multi-Tasking. I will also be wanting to overclock aswell.

My Budget is £2800.

I know that I have exceeded this by a lot. The prices I have listed against the specs are ones I have found on a few searches around! Obviously there are going to be places where I can get them cheaper, and thats where I'm asking you guys for help! See if you can find me the cheapest prices and I will love you forever!

I also intend to Watercool this system.
I dunno exactly what parts and bits I need to do this, so I'm seriously gonna need your expertise people!
The case I have chosen is ideal for Watercooling, due to its massive space and watercooling holes at the rear.
I am getting the BFG GTX 295 H20 so I can watercool those, but I will also need to watercool the i7 CPU as it will be getting Overclocked to 3.5Ghz. 4Ghz Max! Anything else in the system that will require WC? Or is it just the CPU & GPU?

I love the clear tygon tubing you can get, with black rings around the tubes. I think that I will be needing two lots of tubing, one to cool the i7 and the other to cool the GTX 295.
So is it possible to have a UV Purple coolant in one tube and Orange coolant in the other?

If you could check over the build and figure out what watercooling system is required then that would be fantastic because I am hopeless!

With the PC-P80 Case, 4 of the fans have blue LED lighting. Is it possible to change them, and say have 3 purple LED fans and 1 orange LED fan?

A massive thankyou who can help me out with these dilemmas!

Kind Regards,

Tony.

If your are only planning to overclock to 3.5 - 4 g is watercooling necessary. (only lol) is watercooling necessary. Many people are getting up to 4Ghz with a D0 stepping and a good air system. If you are planning on maxing at 4ghz then you may be able to save some cash and go on air.

However if you are set on water for the 'bling' factor then you should be able to push well above your planned 3.5

Just to point out that I don't think that you will NEED to watercool your CPU to get it to 3.5-4.0Ghz. The D0 Stepping version of the i7 seem to be reaching those levels with ease, without the need for water.

However, if you do go for watercooling and you want different colour coolant for the CPU & GPU, you will obviously need 2 separate watercooling loops i.e. 2 x pumps, 2 x reservoirs, 2 x radiators. Personally, I don't think it is worthwhile - it would take up a lot of space & cash, better off with a single loop tbh. Perhaps you could just get different coloured coils for the different sections of tubing in a single loop?

I'm sure that it is possible to change the LED lighting from the case fans, but whether it is easy or not, I doubt it.

Why not get a SSD or 2 for your O/S seeing as you have the cash?
