I've not looked at this, but I'm guesing it's not actually 'on' Sky, it's merely a free-to-air channel that's being picked up by virtue of the fact you have a sat dish and receiver pointing at Astra 28E, which also happens to carry all the other FTA channels you are watching, like all the BBC channels.

I can't find anything on KingofSat so I may be talking gibberish.

Virgin didn't pay up the fees for the Sky channels, Virgin1 is on freeview so therefore has no cost I guess. That's why it's on Sky.

nope ftn is listed as a seperate channel on listings and has different show schedule.

sky sports news in on freeview too but got taken away from virgin.

Is that what they were doing? I was flicking through the channels on Saturday evening and landed on some quiz show on FTN. They were saying that as of 1st October, it was undergoing a namechange to Virgin1, I think.

what was that 'the riches' like? not overawed by the line up to be honest, though i do like any channel that reruns all the star treks, even though i've got the dvd's it's always good when you're feeling geeky and there's nothing you fancy watching on to flick and find an episode you haven't seen in ages.

Virgin 1 sucks and thats from a VM user, lol, most of the shows nicked or moved from other channels with the odd 3rd rated series such as the disaster show Sarah Connor Chronicles - yes it is that bad and i don't expect a 2nd series, lol
