A big part of me hopes its a competitive car, simply because it was CFD designed. CFD must be far more affordable than running a Wind Tunnel, so if it proves that you can build competitive cars in CFD software then it potentially opens the doors for pleanty of teams without Wind Tunnels or the budget to run one to join F1.

Anyone got any specifics on the cost of CFD vs Wind Tunnels?

I like the look of the Virgin, think it looks quite sleek (apart from that naff graphic on the front), but still not as much as I like the McLaren

Virgin car looks superb. Excellent livery and they did mention obviously it is in 'presentation spec' so I think the 'clean' lines may well soon give way to some aero devices in the name of speed!

They did a shake down at Silverstone today and tomorrow. I doubt they will release any times.

How so? Considerin almsot every aspect of it is completely different to the mclaren? Or is your comparison based on the fact its got 'some red on it'.
