It's entirely up to you. I never found UsenetNow very reliable for speeds and spent most of my Usenet years on a combination of Supernews or Astraweb with Blocknews for fills.

Usenetnow suited my needs before as my speeds were rubbish so i could max out my 5mb download speed lol, its just a month ago i moved to a house where i could get virgin and now im finding i cant get the 52mb i should be getting. Thanks to all the good help i have found a solution with supernews, so fingers crossed it proves to be reliable using port 443.

I have been on Supernews and VM for about 10 years. Always been fine.

I use NewsGroupDirect ($55 year, unlimited) on just the standard port of 119, never had any issues with throttling.

Nothing wrong with Highwinds providers, some downloads may fail due to DMCA, though the trick is download them before that happens.
