I'm looking at their triple play package for my new house. To keep costs down I'll on be on the 2MB connection I'm currently on a BT 8MB ADSL connection
I've been with them for years now & gone up all the packages to the 20mb on release day. A few weeks ago i switched down to 4mb & have noticed No difference whilst gaming. I didn't even know i had been switched down for the first week as it was after a chat with them on the phone. I said i would think about a switch down then rang back a week later to say Yes i want to switch down. They said malc you already switched down last week. I am still one of the first on a 64 man BF2 map & RFactor plays as smooth as ever. 4mb is all anyone needs in my opinion, Unless you are a big downloader i s'pose but then that has never been my thing.
Anyway to sum up i would say Virgin cable is Brilliant if you live in certain areas & crap if you live in others. You really do have to speak to someone in your own locality & see what kinds of speed/service they get.
Fortunately my area is Brilliant & has always been no matter what company heads the operation. (Touches wooden desk )
