Virgin Media - £99 to install a new access point

I dont expect them to do it for free... but I think £99 is too much.

All they'd do is drill a hole and tack coax around your house to the new point, if you're any good at DIY it shouldn't really be an issue or that costly. We did it ourselves in our house, when parents upgraded to V+ the guy installing the box made no comments about the setup.

Probably because the job you did will have been far tidier than the mess their engineers sometimes leave
